Terms of Use

Thanks for using ClassPort. These terms keep things clear between you and us — they're short on purpose.

What ClassPort is

ClassPort is a personal organizer for your class schedule, assignments, grades, and attendance, with an optional AI Questions feature that generates practice quizzes and tests from material you choose to upload. Most of what you see is information you entered yourself, shown back to you in a useful way — AI Questions content is the exception: it's machine-generated from your material, described below.

Your school's records are the real ones

Grades, attendance, and due dates in ClassPort are your own notes. They are not official records, and they can be wrong if what you entered was wrong. Always double-check anything important against what your school publishes.

AI Questions

You must have the right to upload whatever material you choose for AI Questions — your own notes, or anything else you're allowed to share. By uploading it, you give ClassPort a limited license to send it to its AI provider solely to generate your questions, as described in the Privacy Policy. The questions, answers, and explanations AI Questions produces are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete, or miss the point of your material — they're a study aid, not a substitute for your class materials or your teacher, so verify anything important before relying on it. If a question or answer looks wrong or inappropriate, you can report it from wherever it's shown.

Who can use it

ClassPort is for students aged 13 and up.

Fair use

ClassPort is for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, resell, try to break the app, or submit abusive or harmful content to AI Questions.

Subscriptions

ClassPort Plus unlocks AI Questions, Wallet auto-updates, and analytics beyond the free trial, billed through your Apple Account as an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account's subscription settings.

No warranty

We work hard to make ClassPort reliable, but it's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damages — including a missed class or deadline. Reminders are a helping hand, not a guarantee.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, the app will show you the updated version and ask again. Continuing to use ClassPort after that means you accept the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
